Small original painting on medium weight paper. This piece is well within my wheelhouse style wise, but is pretty much completely different from the rest of my work otherwise. It consists of single brush strokes, loaded heavy with paint to give it a 3D effect, carefully arranged to depict a large crowd of people in the street. I make these pieces to be colorful, strange, and fun to look at—paintings that reveal something different depending on how you look at them. This is one of my favorite pieces I've ever made! This piece was hanging in my old studio for a good while, but I think it’s time for it to be appreciated by someone else now.
